Raises your blood glucose Level
This sweetener by far tastes the best, very sweet and I had high hopes for it. I should've known by the ambiguous description on it, claiming to not raise blood glucose, but has pentose sugar, a class of monosaccharides that are used by the body as a source of energy. Well, if the body uses it for energy, then that is not Keto; that is glycemic. This is unlike Allulose & Lakanto Monkfruit Erythritol, which the body does not digest as energy, but passes out through the urine. So I did a test because it was too good to be true. I tested fasting blood sugar before eating, it was 100. Then I ate 2 tablespoons of BochaSweet. Forty five minutes later my blood sugar spiked up to 125. It claims to not affect blood sugar, than that is not true. It definitely affects blood glucose levels, and thus raises insulin. This can pull you out of Ketosis. (I did this same test with Lakanto Monkfruit sweetener and there was no change in my blood glucose whatsoever)
