This isn't 1500 thread count Egyptian 'anything', let alone cotton. It's polyester from China. They're just claiming that they're the same quality as 1500 thread count Egyptian sheets (they're not). The packaging doubles down on the misleading wording (image attached). "Experience the comfort and soft touch as a 1500 THREAD COUNT sheet set". I sent this right back to Amazon and bought some real cotton sheets instead.
