Bilibo makes my autistic daughter happy and sad
My nine year old daughter has autism. She weighs about 50 pounds, if that much. I'm not sure why, but she loves sitting and spinning in these things. To date, 4 of these have broken. There's a small disk in the middle of it that eventually cracks off the main body. The manufacturer website states no weight limit. I beg to differ - what else could be causing it to break? All she does is put it on the floor, sit in it, and spin. She gets it going pretty fast too. She'll maybe get a few weeks out of it before she comes to me and says "Ava's sad. Purple spinner is broken. New purple present!". She has very limited vocabulary, but manages to express that she's sad it's broken yet again. She doesn't understand that no matter what, the next one will break too.
