This is all my fault, I take all of the blame. I love to read cookbooks. I love to cook. I collect cookbooks. I really thought I was getting this amazing collection of recipes from African American cooks from (mostly) the south. My mouth was watering just imaging all of the wonders this book would hold. Whoops ... not a cookbook. I got very tired of the "preaching" in the first 100 pages and closed the book forever. Please post right beside the genre NOT a cookbook. I feel really bad about spending $45 .. so I'm going to donate it to my local library.
