I guess "100% Original Recordings and Artists" doesn't mean "Original HIT Recordings and Artists". I was a teen in the late 50's and I knew not only all the words but the timing and the background of the ORIGINAL HITS by heart. I know a re-recording when I hear it. Most of the re-recordings were major disappointments. Some of the re-recordinigs were not too bad but some were not even by the artist that had the original hit. I rated this CD set 2 Stars only because, thankfully, a few of the recordings seemed to indeed be the original hit recordings. I would have rated it 5 Stars if all the recordings had actually been the original HIT recordings. Very disappointing overall. I'm considering returning this CD set. If you're wanting ORIGINAL HIT recordings, don't buy this CD set. Don't be fooled by the label that says "100% Original Recordings and Artists".
