Tepid, over done, and worn out theme
Apparently, I'll be one of the few reviewers who did not like this book. It took me several tries to finally get to the end, and I was relieved when I could delete it from my Kindle. Here's why I didn't enjoy it:
1. The tired theme of a very successful woman but who has no business sense at all and her husband is taking wild advantage of her. We've read this story 100s of times before, and with the number of lawyers and accountants in business today, plus the transparency of someone whose fame is on the Internet, it's hard to believe.
2. That someone would write a successful blog and not control her own passwords.
3. Layered on with a judge who is blatantly unfair, and involved in some dark activities.
4. And, of course, the heroine has to join a help group where first she is uncomfortable but then she learns about herself and of course finds true love.
This book is full of trite, well worn themes that have been done better by others. I'm sure my review will get all types of "not helpful" votes because the book is supposed to be about empowered women overcoming great odds and we should all support this, but to me, this book plays on reader's emotions and isn't worth reading.
