If you are having any doubts about this steamer.......don't!! This is a wonderful steamer. I love the fact that it has a timer and a low and high steamer setting. It is very functional and can be adjusted and positioned easily. The only bad thing I can say....(and it's not much of a bad thing) is that the cups do not have a max fill line, like the directions stated. Other than that, this is an awesome product....you won't be disappointed. UPDATE!!!! I've had this machine for 9 months and it stop producing steam. The heating element doesn't get hot...therefore no steam. I contacted the company for help on this matter. They gave me the option of purchasing another unit with a 25% discount!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME? This unit should last more than 9 months!! I told them I didn't want my money back...just exhange the unit! They stated that this product is only covered for defects within 60 days. So, what they are saying is: THIS PRODUCT IS JUNK AND WE DON'T BELEIVE IN THE QUALITY OF THIS PRODUCT AFTER 60 DAYS!! BUYER....BEWARE!!
