Bought these back in Feb for a car I am giving to my daughter in February. Wanted them for additional safety, etc. Last week when I was driving the car I smelled something burning when I was at a drive thru but wasn’t sure what it was, maybe recent oil change on exhaust, car in front of me, etc. Smell went away after a couple of days so I didn’t think much of it. My daughter got her driver’s permit last Friday so I let her drive the car this weekend. She hops in the driver’s seat puts her foot on the brake as I’m walking around the car and I noticed one of the flashing brake lights went out. Got on Amazon and ordered replacements, no big deal. Received the replacements today and tonight I pull out the burned out light and it is literally BURNED OUT! This thing could have caught the car on fire. Look at the pics where it melted out. The connector is burned up, the inside of the brake light is charred up and I am not happy right now. Needless to say I’m returning the replacements I received today and taking out the other side that is still working. Not worth the risk of putting my 16 year old daughter in a car with these things!
