Tried to make hard boiled eggs. Followed directions exactly. When shaken gently and opened, all the eggs were broken open and all the hard yolks were mixed with the whites! I think it would work if the eggs had a specific shell hardness, were a specific size and the exact wattage microwave was used. Who has time to experiment with dozens of eggs and attempts to get it right? I learned a lesson here...nothing beats the old fashioned method of boiling the eggs!
