Camera Burns & Bad Customer Service
Appalling customer service. I use my camera (Hero 4 Silver) as a dash camera for my vehicle for 4 months now. When I initially got the camera, the device would get so hot you could not even touch it a couple of times. The final straw was when I was driving to work and the camera started to sizzle/crack and emit a little smoke. The camera is completely ruined and bad burn marks around the battery compartment. Emailed support on 7/16, and never received a reply. Finally after 12 days of no response, I did live chat with them on 7/28 and they didn't even seem interested in my problem and offered me a 20% discount for a new product. No third party accessories were used and an obvious (dangerous) defective product, and won't stand behind it. As you can see in the picture the battery is bulged and burned (along with camera). Worst customer service I have experienced.
