First, let me say, as a vacuum this thing works well. But I can't say that it is worth keeping. Lets start with the good: Suction wise this thing cranks, it cleaned better than my previous Hoover for sure. The canister is easy to clean, and comes apart easily. It's light and easy to use. The filter doesn't stay as clean for as long as my hoover did, I think the cyclone effect is just not as good, but like I said, it cleans great. Now here is my problem, and why I am not going to keep this vacuum. I cannot vacuum my house without the belt falling off at least once. My carpet is brand new and never gave any other vacuum we had any trouble, but randomly the belt will just fall off. It could be made tolerable if I didn't have to remove 10 screws every time this happened. Bissell customer support was great, they first sent a new belt, then a new brush to see if that fixed it, unfortunately it did not. Now their solution is for me to take it over an hour away to a service center, I simply can't. I have had this for 3 months and there is no justifying me needing to do that for a vacuum this new. I don't have a big house and I take care of my stuff meticulously. Unless you have super short carpet or just hard floors I cannot recommend this vacuum.
