Bought these lights to string around my bedroom. They were awesome at first but they only lasted a good two weeks before they all began to dim to a very faint light. I only used them a couple hours each night and even had quality batteries. But they still crapped out after only 2 weeks of minor use.. The remotes never worked well either. You have to point it close to the box and click about 20 times before anything happens. Definitely would not recommend these.
