I loved these rollers, until one day, they started to Arc and sparked. I contacted Remington, and they quickly replaced the unit. After using the new set for 5 months, it stopped working. Again, Remington quickly replaced them. I had been using the third set approximately 4-months, when, this morning, approximately 4-minutes after being plugged in, smoke began billowing out of the unit. I unplugged the set and ran it outside. Five of the hot rollers were literally melted, and my room now has a horrible smell. If I had left the room, I honestly think they would have burst into flames. This is three, separate units, that had the exact same problem. Remington is aware that there is a problem. I can only pray they recall and fix it, before someone gets hurt.
