I noticed several reviews that mentioned problems with the on/off switch. I found the same problem. Also the cord is short, and the location (in the middle on the back) makes it difficult to position. The stand doesn't help either. The actual intensity of the lamp is questionable. I like to ride my bicycle at night, and I have two 1000 lumen lights mounted to the handle bars. people have told me they mistook me for a car. That would never happen with this "happy light." The only thing happy about this light is the cha-ching of the cash register at Verilux.
