Stains everything when wet -- avoid
As others have said, the dye is not colorfast; it stains pet mouths, countertops, cloth, etc. when it gets wet. I tried soaking them to get the dye off (see photo) and it is taking too long. I give up. I'll look for undyed crinkle balls -- I don't think my cat cares what color it is.
