My son is 15 months old and he has been wearing sunglasses since the beginning (about 3 months old). Up till now we had been buying the cheapies from Target and they have worked fine. With his growth those Target cheapies no longer fit right so we came to Amazon to find a pair. The Tuga Baby glasses have great reviews , come in multiple colors, and have a case. The actual glasses are plastic, like the ones from Target, but fit his larger head better. Before using them we checked them out for any dangers and they seemed fine. Unfortunately the first time he wore them they ended up scratching his nose when he pulled them off. We were baffled because there are no obvious signs of danger but with closer inspection we found that the mold seam is right along the nose pads and when rubbed the right way has an edge that will cut skin (it took some work for us to even find it). We removed the edge with a nail file and the glasses should work from here on out but I suggest closely checking yours for this same edge before placing them on your child's head.
