I bought this ssd in April for my Macbook Pro. It seemed to work fine for months. Then, as I was backup the hard drive using Apple's Time Machine, the drive died. I have removed the drive and have tried connecting it externally to another computer, but the drive has a solid red light and is not recognized or able to mount. It could be just a glitch and my ssd was damaged in some way, but I would advise that you do your research and decide if this drive is worth the headache. I eventually returned it to SP a d they replaced it. However the new one lasted about three months and died as well. If I could give lower than one star, I would. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a reputable drive.
