Just received my pants today. For reference, I am 5’4” tall and approximately 285 pounds. I carry the majority of my weight in my lower gut. I typically wear a 20 to 22 size pants depending if they’re stretchy. I planned on using these for hiking and other outdoor activities. I read other reviews and did order a bigger size (24) as suggested. Now for the review... PROS: -Stylish -Material is light to medium weight -Functional pockets that are deep enough to be useful -Unhemmed for option to customize length; this could also be a con if you do not want to bother CONS: -Going from a size 20 up to a 24, I still could not button these -There is some sort of built in hidden elastic in the waist but didn’t help much -There is no stretch in the actual material itself -Feels like a low rise cut pant that looks odd especially if you have a gut -Dangerously close to having plummers crack I REALLY wanted to like these pants but I am not giving up hope. Other reviews stated for plus size ladies to try the mens cut pants which will be my next move. Will update if the mens pants were successful- fingers crossed! ***UPDATE*** Mens pant did not work either, such a bummer. Still on the hunt for some decent cargo pants for outdoor activities
