I am very disappointed with this comforter. I purchased it several months ago, now, and I have been waiting to see how the comforter performed before I gave it a review. It seemed like a good purchase at the time, it came promptly and well packaged. Even the craftsmanship seemed to be of a satisfactory nature, it does not look cheap, which is always good. However, this is where my positive things to say about it ends. It sheds feathers like you wouldn't believe, it just exudes feathers out of the box-weave seams! I have it in a duvet cover and yet feathers still work their way through and out. My bedroom always looks like I just had chickens running around! My family can't even wear dark colored clothes anymore without having to sticky roller them off before leaving the house! Then today, I went to take it out so that I could wash the duvet and it looked like I had just put a whole gaggle of geese inside my duvet and beat them to death, minus the blood of course! There were large feathers, tiny feathers, and even the itty bitty down feathers had accumulated in the seams of the comforter to create this thick lint-like stuff. I had a down comforter previous to this for 15 years and I can count on one hand how many feathers came out of it, and those were only poking through the fabric. This comforter just explodes feathers every time you shake it. The photos aren't the best since I was trying to capture white feathers on white and light blue fabrics, but if you look closely you can make out the flurry of feathers everywhere.
