I love playing tennis and last year I played a lot (20+ hrs/week). Unfortunately, I started feeling pain in my right elbow around July/Aug 2010. After doing a little research I found out it was tennis elbow. I waited for about 2 weeks and while most of the pain had subsided, it didn't completely go away. I then ordered a jar of Penetrex and started applying it about 3 times a day. I changed a lot of my habits like using my left hand to drive, trying to carry heavier things with my left hand, etc. I was hoping I'd have the same experience as the majority of the people here. I even started icing my elbow twice a day. I was getting desperate so I ordered another 3 jars of penetrex. About 1.5 months later, it did definitely feel better, but there was this question in my mind constantly... was it penetrex, just time or icing the elbow. I started playing again and I got through about 1.5 months until the winter came in. I then stopped icing the elbow but continued applying penetrex about once every 2 days. But, after 2 months, my elbow showed absolutely no improvement and in fact it felt much worse than before where I rested my elbow for 1.5 months. I then started icing it again and eventually things did get better (stiffness had drastically reduced). I have started playing tennis again, but every time I play I can feel a little pain in the elbow. I'm taking ibuprofen to get by the pain. I don't think there's any cure for tennis elbow. If you have tennis elbow, save your money. The best you can do is ice it (or get surgery). Don't waste your money on this worthless product! Here's the reason why I say I feel cheated: After placing my second order (for the 3 jars), I got an email requesting me to leave positive feedback and if I did, they'll send me 2 free jars of penetrex. I can see so many people falling for that....unfortunately that's human nature... anything free is welcome. Thankfully I didn't fall for it. Reviews are extremely important to a lot of people. People like me rely on them to make informed decisions. I feel I got suckered into buying this garbage thanks to the reviews (which I wouldn't be suprised were left by people wanting to get 2 free jars of penetrex). They have my 80 bucks (for 4 jars) but they are not making another penny off me again!
