I’ve bought a lot of guitars. Cheap guitars like Oscar Schmidt and Jay Turser. They had their flaws but were fixable. This guitar was more than those other brands and is absolute junk. Where to begin? The high E slot in the nut is cut so deep that an open E hit the first fret and didn’t make a sound. All the strings buzz and rattle and all points on the neck. The intonation is miles off. Then you plug it in and there’s no sound. Opening up the back to look at the wiring, sawdust! Loads of it! Wood shavings really. This guitar was supposed to have been set up in California to the standards of monoprice, and they stand by the quality of their products. I will never buy anything from them again and this is being returned ASAP! Oh wait, I can’t because it has flammable gases!?!?!? Man am I pissed!
