These things turn the same color and stink the same when you dump water on them, the reason they tell you to wear socks is so your feet sweat and get the pads wet. Then it will look like it did something they didn't actually do. They are marketed like if you wear these enough they'll stop changing color, that's not the case though since they do the same thing with pure filtered water. Just save your money and avoid this. Drink lots of water and stop smoking, drinking, and eating garbage and you'll actually detox, these things can't do that.
