What was I thinking
I keep hoping that Christine Feehan will go back to writing books that are not sex concentric only. This book was a gigantic disappointment, but I was goofy enough to hope for better. The sex was over done In volume and over blown in performance, and the central issue – the situation the heroine found herself in - was turned into nothing, a minor plot point, the dénouement of that situation was less than nothing. I won’t share a lot of details here, there are still people who are reading this book since it was just dropped, and of course mileage may vary depending on the reader. If what you’re after is sex, sex, public sex, then this is your book. If you want an actual plot, where a situation develops, a reasonable forward movement in resolving that situation is displayed, and that forward movement isn’t four paragraphs surrounded by two chapters of raunchy sex, this is not your novel. It certainly wasn’t mine.
