Books hung up in "All" and don't automatically move to "Download" when published
Lightweight, excellent resolution and lighting. However these attributes are worthless when new books appear in "All" (the BIG CLOUD) but do not move themselves to "Downloaded" (the Customer's manageable library). I have over 4,000 books in "All" and over time, cannot tell which ones are new books I have not read. At any one time, I have 30 to 50 books I have preordered and will publish over the next several months. The "new" designation is removed from a book after a few days and with 4,000 books in my "All" library, it is easy to miss a new book. Amazon dealt with this by automatically moving the new book into the "Downloaded" section of the kindle instead of leaving it in the BIG CLOUD. This is how prior versions of Kindle work. I am returning this new kindle and will continue to use my previous Kindle. It should be noted that Oasis does the same thing as this new waterproof Kindle. It beats me why Amazon dropped the push into Downloaded section - it's the only way to manage and ensure all new books come to the customer's attention.
And while I am complaining - the less the Customer see's on the screen is the most pleasing and the less distracting. It is easy to tell when one is reviewing which books are in the "Downloaded" section of the Kindle - The top of the screen is marked "Downloaded". I don't know why Amazon thinks the customer needs more clues - Amazon adds a big black circle with a checkmark in the circle as a second indicator of downloaded status. Apparently the title of the page is not enough!
