Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I had such high hopes for these pillowcases...the price certainly can't be beat, and they had a number of great reviews, but this is another case of "you get what you pay for." Out of the box they looked great and felt fine, and I washed them with my usual detergent prior to using. The first night, however (and every night subsequently), they have been the scratchiest, least comfortable pillowcases I've ever encountered. The face itching actually wakes me up, and last night I resorted to laying one of my older pillowcases over this one, and it was instantly better (so not just my sensitive skin's fault). If these are made of 100% cotton I'd be surprised. Awful.
