Let me say that I have rarely written reviews on any product but my chagrin over this $150 expense is too much to forget. I had high hopes when I ordered 4 x 50 foot sections of this hose. I had to take hoses from my home to another location and back again. The FIRST disappointment was that I ordered in July and did not receive the hoses until September - they were back-ordered. They were a little (lot) late for the summer dry spell that was the reason I bought them in the first place. Then came the other MAJOR disappointment, read on!! The first segment that I used worked as advertised - great. Then I had to put three sections together and found that one of them leaked - or should I say sprayed water from one of the fittings. Well, I would solve this by putting the fourth segment in. It sprayed water from another fitting. Two of the 50' segments were good and two were bad. Then I looked around for the address to send the two segments in for the Lifetime replacement warranty that they had advertised. So far I have had no luck finding where to contact DAP for an exchange. Even a one year warranty would be effective - I have only had them for 4 months but the paperwork does not give adequate information as to where to send them. I have to start researching DAP on the internet and making some calls. Better think twice before ordering these and planning to depend on them. ADDENDUM: I instituted a search on the internet and found DAP but when I called them they gave me another number. Fearing a run-around, I called the second number. The outfit is called National Express and the lady who answered the phone could even find my order in her computer. Score one for National Express. NOW the big shock came - Customer Service is what they are called and what they do!! I told her my situation and she simply said, "I will ship out 2 new hoses for you"!! OH, the phone number? 800-554-5925 I would amend my rating to at least 4 stars, and if the new segments are as good as the ones I now have, 5 STARS. I sure hope the Chinese are learning from this one.
