It clearly states 2 things. You can put more than one sandwich on it...no. It "includes a floating hinge that adjusts to accommodate thicker sandwiches and easier grilling." Also....no. I love the 180° platform for indoor grilling since we live in an apartment, however I longed for the other portions of my appliance to work as well. I am very disappointed. I never ask for my money back if I made a bad decision and ended up with a product that I don't like in the end. This time, I am going to. I was so excited to finally get this type of item! I researched and found one at a price I could afford that I thought would be good based on what I read. I've decided they must pay for the good reviews, therefore it explains how they were all good. Don't waste your time or money. An hour later my guests, 3 of them, finally have their paninis, cooked one at a time, fighting to flip constantly to keep the top grill from pushing all the ingredients out of the sandwich since it refuses to level out with that touted floating hinge that doesn't work. So bummed.
