Dangerous for long term use. For short term use only.
Dandelion is for short term use only. It is very dangerous to use it on a daily basis. I had been using for a few months, and unbeknown to me, it has lowered my blood sugar level to such dangerous levels that I nearly fainted several times and after several trips to the doctors and the emergency room and tests, the doctors could not figure out what was wrong with me. Basically, it blocked my sense of feeling hunger when I was hungry, and I lost the taste for food. I did not feel hungry nor wanted to eat when I needed to, and ended up almost fainting due to dizziness. I also felt dizzy and weak for the past almost 5 months that I wasn't able to walk without help, or drive at all. The most dangerous thing about it is that I didn't know that Dandelion could lower my blood sugar to such level that caused all those problems, I thought it was my low blood sugar and kept eating candies to bring my sugar level up whenever I felt like fainting. This raised my blood sugar up so high I was nearly diabetic (unbeknown to me at that time). At the same time, the doctor could not detect the high level of sugar in my blood because Dandelion kept the sugar level down, so it caused my instability and dizziness for months. I am still trying to get back to where I was before I started taking Dandelion. I kept praying and praying, thinking I was going to die and finally God led me to find out the reason, and after I stopped taking Dandelion, I was able to walk again and not feeling dizzy anymore. Let this be a warning for all that this is extremely dangerous to take on a daily basis!
