Run away. (Psst: Dual will.)
It has an annoying announcement every time it is turned on, "Bluetooth is ready for pairing". It's loud and you cannot adjust the volume of this announcement. And the amp does not stay on. If it detects a lack of music for five or ten minutes, it shuts down with another annoying, "Bluetooth off" message. UPDATE: Words cannot describe how much I loathe this device. At first it was just an annoyance, the obnoxious, "BLUETOOTH IS READY FOR PAIRING" announcement and it's partner, POWERING OFF announcement. Both of which do not have volume control - and they are LOUD! Picture guests seated around a dinner table for what it sure to be a lovely evening of dinner with friends. A little soft dinner music would add to the ambiance. But first, everyone must jump to the loud robot-like announcement: BLUE TOOTH IS READY FOR PAIRING. Later, as the night winds down and the music selection is complete, don't forget Mr. Duel has sensed no more music so he alone decides to announce LOUDLY: POWERING OFF. I'm gonna toss this POS in the trash. I just hope I can help others keep cortisol levels in check. ANOTHER UPDATE: So, your using this amp to drive your home speakers and your cellphone as the music source. Your phone rings. The music is silenced by the app and you answer your phone. Better make the call short. This POS amp senses the lack of music signal and shuts down and one must again suffer the loud announcement it issues when you power it on again. Perhaps this amp is good for some applications. But for powering your speakers to listen to music or to attach to Alexa, this is NOT the devise you want! Dual should make this clear in their description of the product. Another update: I repeatedly pressed Dual to simply recognize my complaint. They essentially said, tough. Amazon did however refund me a token amount, which was appreciated. I've still not tossed this device in the trash bin. I cringe and bear it. Okay, I'm cheap. Guilty. Bottom-line, I would NEVER recommend a Dual product. If they continue to be deceptive in one product's presentation, they are sure to do it with other products.
