I read most of the negative reviews complaining about the item breaking. I figured that could be worked around and the stake could be reinforced. However, the real problem with this product is that it is way, way too sensitive. We're talking a small movement 25 feet away, no matter how you adjust or aim it. In addition, the sprinkler's adjustment range does not work for a small area, like a garden bed. The design of the sprinkler head also throws a lot of water in random directions even when the sprinkler is set to it's narrowest setting. In addition, if there is anything the sprinkler hits that can move (a bush, a tree branch), that motion will just set the sprinkler off again, and you'll have a never ending cycle. Eventually it might stop, but then a gentle breeze will set it off again. This might be great if your goal is flooding your yard? The design of the product and the included seals are also really leaky. I had to mess with it for an hour to get it to just sit there and not leak when the hose was turned on. Battery life is good, and that's worthy of the one star Amazon requires. The use-case for this product is covering a huge area where you want it to be extremely sensitive and there is no possible damage done by a leak. I wish I hadn't bothered.
