Not keto friendly. (120g carbs per package)
I noticed the seller avoided listing macros and didn’t include picture of nutrition label. I took a chance on this product based on the name of the product alone, where as I should have investigated the q&a to find out more.
As a consumer the burden of investigation falls on my shoulders and I own up to that. However, as a human I have more respect for companies that are more open and honest about their product details in the description.
The name of the product, “carba-nada” is misleading and lures customers into think it does not contain carbs or is at least low in carbs.
Neither assumption is true and the 10 ounce package contains 120g carbs making this a poor choice for certain carb restrictive diets, such as a ketogenic diet. Even one serving (24g carbs) puts you over most people’s allotted 20g carb max for the entire day!
My dissatisfaction does not come from the noodles. They might taste fine and be exactly what some customers are looking for.
However my 1 star reviews comes from the belief that this seller is purposely avoiding full disclosure of the nutrition label. This can be fixed by simply providing a picture of the back of the package allowing buyers to make an informed decision.
I took a risk and I made a mistake and accept full responsibility, but this company was too comfortable with allowing me to make such a common mistake and false assumptions about their product based on the name. “Nada” meaning nothing or none is a lie in the case of carbs.
We live and we learn and we buy from more reputable companies in the future. They know exactly what they are doing. I included a pic of nutrition label so buyers can decided for themselves.
