Let's start with saying I had high Hope's for the new buds. I love samsung a d have been using their products for years. The first gen galaxy buds were neat but suffered terrible call quality like absolutely terrible quality, the 2nd gen were cosmetically the sa,e except they incorporated extra microphones which deff made the calls better. What I didn't like about the 1st and 2nd gen was how when they were in your ear , it caused a clogged feeling. The ambient pass through noise on the 2nd gen at the time was groundbreaking for me as it allowed me to be isolated and then not. That I bought a pair of airpods pro and world changed. The noise cancellation on my air pods pro was insane. When it was on everything was absolutely quiet and I was feeling secluded and i loved it. When I turned on the ambient mode which allowed outside noise to come back into my ear I remember saying "wow!" I could hear my music and people talking to me at the same time and so clearly!, it's like I wasn't even wearing bluetooth buds. That's a little backstory now let's get into the buds live! The unboxing experience was nice and the new color is quite fancy. The first time I put the buds in I put them in like a pro and they fit quite comfortably ,note if they don't fit in your ears samsung included extra tips to fit your ears. I turned on the bass mode via the galaxy wearable app and was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality. THE GALAXY BUDS LIVE GET LOUDER THAN AIRPODS AND PRODUCE MUCH MORE BASS. These buds have a fresh new look to entice buyers in this segment but the whole ACTIVE NOISE CANCELATION THING IN THE BUDS LIVE IS GARBAGE. I sat in my room with my loud fan going and toggled on and off the noice cancelation feature AND COULDNT HEAR A DIFFERENCE. Conclusion: these are not the best headphones out there.. they are affordable? They are light weight, stylish, produce tremendous bass and have amazing battery life and THATS IT. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THINGINKIMG THEY WILL REPLACE YOUR AIRPODS PRO, THEY WONT Samsung could have really made a airpods pro killer product here but they missed the mark I feel they have no right to market any kind of noise cancellation claim as it's just not the case
