UPDATE: so I decided to put this on the highest setting. It doesn't bother me to hear it and only did it to the one in the garage as my pets are indoors. I also sprayed some stuff and threw moth balls all around. Now my car smells, but I haven't seen a mouse since. I have one of these in my basement so I'll update once it's time for spiders. I have had this installed for weeks and on the second recommended level the whole time. I found more droppings and a mouse ran right in front of me. On to the old fashioned traps unfortunately.
