I purchased this lock and the related kryptonite cable to secure my bike. One of their big sales points is that they have theft insurance that you can purchase from them for additional cost. I purchased it. Unfortunately, several years later, the bike was stolen and I filed a claim. Not only did it take more than 2 months for them to process the half page claim form, they then denied the claim because the thief did not leave the evidence (broken lock) behind. What thief intentionally leaves the evidence behind? It makes it very clear that Kryptonite/Allegion is engaged in underhanded tactics to avoid paying at all costs. However, they did offer to send me a new lock.........
