I would never in a million years want a boyfriend like this guy. He was an awful hero. The first 50% of the book he treats the heroine like a unwanted pest. And not in a cute way. They get together the book get better. Then his ex wife shows up at his house. The heroine pulls into the diveway and his hugging the ex and this man looks her in the eye while she’s sitting in the car and he shoos her away. You read right. He shoos the heroine away, then leads the ex in the house. Then he invites the ex and her kid to move in to house. Now this man has an apartment he rents out below him. If he felt like he had to provide them a place why not move them in there? Instead he packs up the heroine stuff and moves her into the apartment. Seriously?!?! WTH? He does a piss poor job explaining things to her, and even just wishes the heroine would leave because she’s probably better off without him. The heroine is a doormat. Let’s the hero treat her like garbage over and over again. She hears the hero tell the ex that she is nobody. He was warm and cold to her through out the whole book. The heroine put up with it and at the end of the book he hardly has to say or prove anything to get her back. Doesn’t run after her right away and doesn’t even ask her to marry him until like a year after they’re back together. This author is not for me. Ladies, especially if any young girls read this, please NEVER let a man treat you this way!!!
