I am so tired of companies calling their products eco-friendly when it is not the truth. These bags are recycled plastic which is better than non-recycled plastic but plastic does not biodegrade. At best, these bags will break down into smaller pieces of plastic but plastic never goes away. Do yourself and the planet a favor and use BIO-degradable bags that are made out of corn starch or some other non-plastic material. Look for bags that are compostable or Bio-degradable (not just "degradable"). Degradable just means the plastic breaks up into smaller and smaller pieces. Don't be fooled by companies' marketing tactics!
