Functionally I would rate this 5 stars. For installation, I would rate it minus 31 stars. The issue is the power cord is not detachable. As a result, you must use a hole cutter of at least 2 inches to allow space for the plug to fit through from the outside of your garage/house to the inside. That means, that on the outside of your home, after the basic installation, you get to use a hole cutter and get through your garage, you then get to apply wood filer, smooth it, wait for it to dry, sand it, clean it, prime it, wait for it to dry and paint it. And then, if you care how it looks inside your garage, you get to do the very same thing. The solution would be sooooo simple and would make this a 90 minute installation vs multi-day installation. And that solution would be to either make the cord detachable from the camera or make the plug detachable from the cord. THEN, you drill a 1/2 hole through the outside and inside, pass through the wire, caulk the two openings and you are done. If I were to do this again, I would simply cut off the plug, install it and rewire a new plug. If you know what you are doing, ZERO risk and a much faster AND CLEANER install. That the company has allowed this massive inconvenience to exist boggles my mind.
