Purchased this iron in January. Worked great for four months with very light usage. Then, it stopped heating. Rowenta says I have to ship the iron to Utah and wait THREE WEEKS for them to repair it. And that's if they have the parts. As an added bonus, I get to pay for the shipping! Rowenta, how about this approach: "I see that you have spent 4 times for this iron than what you could have bought one from your local Target or Wal-Mart, and you've only had the iron four months, so, we're shipping you a new iron today, along with a label where you can send back the defective unit." My $29 sunbeam lasted 14 years and it was still working when I gave it to Goodwill. Wish I'd kept it. Thanks to Rowenta, I must either purchase a new iron, send everything out to the cleaners for a month, or wear wrinkled clothes. What a joke.
