This crashed my PC -- went to blue screen. I rebooted and plugged the unit in after booting. The computer recognized the device. However, it would not transfer the files from a CD to my PC. It got 2% into the transer and froze--with Windows saying it would take more than a day to transfer. Note that the same CD transfered without error using the internal drive on my old PC (so there was nothing wrong with the CD).
