For the first month everything was fine. I say fine because there was no change. My cat's breath was the same; teeth looked the same, but there were no negative side effects so I decided to try for another month. Around week 5 something happened because suddenly there was cat sick everywhere, every day. I thought that it couldn't be the mouthwash's fault since we'd been using it for over a month with no issues. After four days of not being able to identify a culprit, I changed the water. No more sickies.
