Misleading description.
This little diode laser is good for basic hobby things. The description is misleading though. They say 90 watt "effect" which really doesn't mean anything. There's absolutely nothing about this 5 watt machine that has an effect like a 90 watt machine other than that it's a laser. I suppose that could be "like" a 90 watt laser. At best this is a marketing trick, at worst it's a lie intended to make someone think it's more capable than it is. While it will do 15mm wood cutting you are not told that it will take 20-25 passes of your cut line to do that. The statement that it will "engrave" metals is a blatant lie. This laser does not function in the range of being anywhere near able to engrave metals. That statement is based on using some sort of coating on the metal and burning that coating on to the metal, not engraving in to the metal at all. These coatings are temporary at best with such a low power laser to apply them. My use of this laser has been with Lightburn and I've run many different kinds of wood through it and have tried CerMark as well as a couple paint methods for metal and glass marking. Glass worked great with the paint, by the way. At the end of the day this is just like the rest of the ~5 watt machines on here. It'll do what most hobbyists want. But the description here is really making it seem like it will do much more than it is actually capable of.
