Like most of you reading these reviews, I was worried about purchasing a recliner online. I took the plunge because I simply don’t have the time to go hunting for a recliner with the holidays coming up and I want the convenience of shopping from my home. I am impressed! First onto delivery: I scheduled the delivery from 6am to 9am today (11/9/19) and they arrived at 7am. They called me 30 minutes before they arrived. They took it out of the box and brought it into my living room. A+ Service!! Assembly: It came in two pieces. I followed the instructions and tipped the base over. Then I slid the back on and used the two knobs to tighten it in place. That’s it. The recliner: It’s HUGE. I’m 6’ and 308lbs. My feet do not touch the ground when I sit in it. I still have about 5 inches left in the seat when I plop my butt on it. It is a manual recliner so you have to use the lever. I’m tall and strong enough to move it myself. Yes, it’s firm but over time it will loosen up. It feels like I am sitting on air. When I stand up, it’s with little effort since it’s so high off the ground. What this doesn’t do: it doesn’t rock. It’s not a rocket ship. Get it. You will not be disappointed! **** UPDATE 11/18 **** Less than two weeks and this thing SQUEAKS when reclining. This is very upsetting. I am returning the item minus the over hundred dollars to pay for return shipping. AVOID!!
