We've had the ice machine since April of 2020. It made some irritating noises in the beginning but went away for the most part. Over the past couple months it started squeaking really loud, so loud you had to shut it off to hear the TV. It doesn't make ice as fast as it did, and seems to be getting worse. I am going to contact GE appliance warranty to see what they will do about it. It makes great ice for chewing. It really is just like Sonic ice and my wife just loves that. Hopefully they will make good on the warranty. I'll add to this review when I have more information about the warranty process.
