There is no installable software and Cricut has locked out all 3rd party software vendors from working with their machines. They force you to use an online only version with limited capabilities. Anything beyond the simplest project, particularly with text, will cause extreme slowdowns. I can't recommend this to anyone outside of the most casual users, and even this is a stretch. **Update 6/10/2017** Online software is still a joke. Constantly slowing down on big projects. Whenever Flash updates, expect major problems for several days. This machine is sucking the fun out of crafting :-(
