Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

If you've read other reviews on this shoe you've probably noticed by now that they run the gamut from people totally satisfied to people unsatisfied because of fit issues. I've bought New Balance shoes in the past because they've always fit right out of the box. The sizing was always correct. No more. They're all over the map. Before ordering this shoe I read other reviews on it on Amazon and other sellers websites and many people recommended getting a size wider. I ordered a size wider and guess what? They were too short. The problem here is one of quality control for sizing. The shoe seems to be constructed well enough but, as you can read from the other reviews, the sizing is not consistent. So what do you do? Return it for another pair of the same size and hope they fit? Return it for another pair a size larger and hope they have the same sizing defect? I really like ordering from Amazon and I like their free shipping return policy for shoes, but if you really want this particular shoe you need to go to a shoe store and try it on or you'll spend the rest of your life swapping shoes by mail.
