We found mold growing. We scrub out the bowl with scorching water, soap, and sometimes bleach when we fill the water jug (about 2 to 3 days apart) But it grows right back and is a constant battle. My parents have one that i wish i could find for ourselves with a design where its basicly a normal dog dish with the jug on top, but it never gets moldy and doesnt have a ring that hides mold and makes it difficult to clean. Look for more of an open dish with just a jug on top if you can find one!
