I bought this sunbeam velvet heated blanket in March of 2018. I also bought a protection plan of 2 years from square trade. I am so disappointed ! the blanket stopped heating after 5 months of use. and that when my nightmare started ! I tried to have the blanket replaced. square trade couldn't replace the blanket because it was under manufacturer warrantee. so I contacted the manufacturer. They wanted me to send the blanket to their repair warehouse in MS. but They do not give a return label slip. the blanket is big and heavy. will cost me $9.99 for the box and 46$ to send it to sunbeam repair warehouse. The blanket cost me 71$ and now to have it repaired, I need to spend 56$!!!! why ???? I am frustrated ! I am a cancer patient! get cold during chemo treatments so I need this heated blanket to keep me warm. but now I have to return it for many days to have it fixed and spend more money to do so ! meanwhile, I do have a protection plan which is useless because it does not work ! This is ridicule ! Next time you buy something on amazon, and the square trade logo comes up, offering you a protection plan, please do read the final prints! it may not be what you think it is !
