This worked for awhile after I first hooked it up. It even deterred my neighbor's yappy dog from barking. After a few hours, I noticed the dog was back to barking incessantly. Went on the back porch and looked at the green light, and it was not flashing when the dog was barking. I could use the remote and make it work, and you could hear the dog react. I was not surprised this unit didn't work very long. The build quality is awful. It's basically a piece of junk that should not cost $6.95 let alone $69.95.
