I have only used this bar once so far and was amazed with its foaming ability. So amazed, in fact, that I went back to the ingredients and did a deeper dive, because: science. I find it disturbing that a company with the name "Ethique" claims that this bar has "no harsh stripping surfactants" when there are credible chemistry explanations of what sodium cocoyl isethionate and sodium coco sulfate are – stripping surfactants (sulfates, but sulfates by a less well-known name among consumers). I'm disappointed in myself for not realizing this on the front end and pretty much think Ethique should reimburse me for the bar. That would be a true ethical thing to do – something in line with the company name – rather than making misleading product claims.
