The following warning is on the bottom of the box: "Always charge robot batteries on surface that won't catch fire. Cement and carpeted floors are not the recommended charge surface." This is among numerous warnings about not letting the toy charge unsupervised, and letting it cool down for an hour after play before charging it again. Battery problems that are possible fire hazards are a non-starter for me in children's toys. Amazon needs to do better at making sure that toys meet actual US product safety standards. This toy is clearly Chinese design and manufacturing. No, I don't know how cement catches fire, but I'm assuming that's a translation issue.
